In March 2015, East Cooper Land Trust took ownership of a conservation easement on 14 acres of privately-owned property on Pawleys Island. The property consists of native trees and other vegetation in the midst of a suburban community. The property is surrounded by home-sites and a golf course. A single log cabin is present on the property and no other homes will be built per the conservation easement. This property is a popular stopover for a variety of bird species and other wildlife.
